Are you in search of a new custom Kydex Holster for your Appendix Inside The Waistband carry?

If so, you've come to the right place. I'm thrilled to introduce you to the latest Holster released on Holster Central, and it might just be our best Appendix Inside The Waistband holster yet!

Today, I want to shed light on the newly launched holster crafted by Kobra Kydex. We hold Kobra Kydex in high regard due to their consistent production of high-quality custom holsters, known for their durability. Handmade by veterans in Georgia, these holsters boast impressive lead times, setting them apart in the industry.

Now, let's talk about the New Conceal APX inside the waistband holster from Kobra Kydex. As the name suggests, this holster is meticulously designed for Appendix Carry, building upon the success of The Concealer Appendix Inside The Waistband Holster with added features.

The Kobra Kydex Concealer isn't just our best-selling holster; it's also my personal favorite and the one I carry every day. If you're unfamiliar with the Concealer, it encompasses nearly every feature you could desire in an inside the waistband holster, including:

  • Optic cut for red dot optics
  • Open bottom for compensators and longer slides
  • Raised sight channel for suppressor height sights
  • Corrosion-resistant hardware
  • Universal sweat shield to prevent sweating against the gun slide
  • Adjustable retention for an audible click and smooth draw
  • Flush trigger guard coverage for enhanced safety

One standout feature is the included concealment wing, enhancing concealment by pressing against your belt and driving the gun grip inwards to minimize printing through your shirt. Unlike other holsters, we provide this feature free of charge when you purchase the Conceal APX on HolsterCentral.com, believing everyone should benefit from this fantastic addition, and shipping is, as always, free.

Kobra Kydex pays attention to customer feedback, and as a result, the new Conceal APX holster retains all the loved features of the Concealer while introducing two significant additions not found in the original Concealer.

Let's delve into the new features! The first addition I want to highlight is the integrated wedge. I've eagerly awaited a holster with this feature, and I'm thrilled to see it incorporated into my favorite holster. While many people added foam wedges to their holsters for better concealment, the trouble with foam is its degradation over time. The integrated wedge in the Conceal APX eliminates this issue – you can rinse your holster off like normal, and there's no risk of it falling off or absorbing sweat.

I love this feature for the added comfort it provides under the belt line, maintaining everything upright and in line behind the belt, preventing forward tilt that could cause printing. The minimalistic design of the integrated wedge strikes a perfect balance, offering just enough to get the job done without adding unnecessary bulk.

Now, let's address the second new feature – the ability to adjust the holster for different ride heights. Multiple mounting point holes and heights for belt clips allow you to customize the holster to your preferred carry option. The Conceal APX offers two ride height options, catering to those who prefer a 'Deep conceal' or a normal ride height, a feature not commonly found in other holsters.

Moving on to the belt clip options, you can choose a single tuckable clip for a minimalist and discreet carry, a preference I've always had for its convenience in tucking in shirts. Alternatively, there's a single non-tuckable clip like the MonoBlock, offering two ride heights. The choice of tuckable clips includes plastic clips or metal clips from Discreet Carry Concepts, each with its unique advantages.

Having carried with the APX and my Sig Sauer P320 compact for a few weeks, I've thoroughly enjoyed the holster. I've worn it every day, driven with it, sat at my desk, gone to the store, and even worn it to the gym. The combination of the concealment wing and the wedge virtually eliminates printing, keeping everything in line and tight behind the belt.

As for comfort, the new wedge has made a noticeable difference when sitting down. The lack of forward tilt above the belt prevents the bottom of the holster from digging into me, a common issue with other IWB holsters. Despite being on the larger side, and considering feedback from average and skinny-sized individuals, the wedge hasn't added any discomfort.

For me, the Conceal APX is an excellent inside the waistband holster for Appendix Carry. So, should you get one? If you've been searching for a more comfortable inside the waistband holster for Appendix carry, the Conceal APX could be exactly what you need. Its minimalist design and focus on functionality make it feel like you're not carrying a brick in your pants.

Of course, individual body type plays a role, and it's essential to remember that nothing inside your waistband will ever be 100% comfortable. It's part of the sacrifice we make as concealed carriers. The Conceal APX, in my experience, falls on the more comfortable side of the scale compared to other holsters I've tried.

The true hallmark of a GREAT inside the waistband holster is when you realize you're already wearing it when reaching for your gun. This has happened to me with the Conceal APX, a testament to the combination of being used to always wearing it and having a comfortable holster.

When it comes to comfort, the gun size you choose to carry plays a significant role. Gun size affects both comfort and concealment, regardless of the holster. The Conceal APX is particularly useful for those carrying shorter slide guns, preventing forward tilt above the belt.

Kobra Kydex has done an excellent job with the Conceal APX, carefully considering every detail to ensure it adds nothing unnecessary to your gun. It's worth the slight price bump from the Original Concealer, thanks to the welcome additions of the wedge and new mounting points.

If you already own a Concealer, the decision to upgrade depends on whether these new features appeal to you.

For those transitioning from a different inside the waistband holster, you'll likely notice the jump in quality compared to other Kydex Holsters. The thickness of the Kydex, well-defined crisp lines, and sturdy build quality set it apart from cheaper alternatives.

For those who prefer the original Concealer without the integrated wedge, it remains a great option that will save you a bit of money.

We've extensively tested these holsters, and they rank among the best. But don't just take my word for it – try one for yourself. As always, we offer free shipping, a lifetime guarantee, and hassle-free returns, even on custom items like the APX.

With Kobra Kydex's custom holsters, you have over 40 colors and patterns to choose from, allowing you to add colored washers and select your preferred belt clip to make it your own.
