Smaller guns carry best in soft waistbands. A compact or subcompact stays put in gym shorts. A heavy full-size gun will pull on any elastic waistband, holster or not.

The waistband matters: the UltiClip grips best on a waistband with some structure or a drawstring you can snug up.
